Hands on History

Two insanely busy days exhibiting mudlarking finds at the iconic @stpaulscathedrallondon and Cutlers’ Hall, the astonishing home of The Worshipful Company of Cutlers’. The turnout was incredible, I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say that we saw thousands of people through the doors over the weekend.

Huge thanks to @jasonmudlark and @rockthemudlark for organising the events, to @mudika.thames for various Cutlers’ related things, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Cutlers’ Hall (who looked after us so well, and even treated us to a splendid, fine dinner), to @han_smiles – once again – for taking our portraits and exhibiting them at St. Paul’s, and most of all, thanks to every single person who came to the exhibition, and engaged with all of us mudlarks – and in some cases, showing us your own finds!

I’m putting together a video of the two exhibitions, and will do it as quickly as possible! In the meantime check out my Instagram account and Secret Mudlark Diary at patreon.com/OldFatherThames for photos and behind the scenes stuff!
